Track Name: Firstborn
I've said it more than a thousand times: I'm not the man who should speak these lines, oh no. I'm not eloquent or magnificent. But you made a snake from a wooden club. And you ran the Nile thick with blood at the command of a simple man, a coward just like me.

In every victory, in every defeat, I'll keep my promise. I was born to face this.

I still wonder, why would you choose me? I'm not a hero, I'm no king. Send the thunder, part the raging seas. Pull me under, live in me.

In every victory, in every defeat, I'll keep my promise. I was born to face this. If all my enemies refuse to retreat, I'll keep my promise. Take my hand, I'm ready now.

I'm not falling to pieces. I am afraid but it won't show.
Track Name: Clear Eyes, Full Hearts, Can't Lose
Five figures worth of debt for this degree that I will never use. I guess I should have always known the Gypsy life is what I'd choose. Now I've spent six summers in the minor leagues and I'm ready for my chance, so I'll lay my head on foreign floors and dream about my big league plans.

I'll stand. They'll never pry all this ambition from my hands.

So I'll scream louder like there's gun powder in my lungs, I've come too far to lose. And I'll hold steady, keep my heart ready, cause I know my day is coming soon.

My buddy Ramey, that kid is always on my mind. He joined the Army, so I sat him down and asked him why. He said "it's for you, the ones I love are worth the sacrifice." So I'll keep on chasing the dream that he's protecting with his life. I know I fight a lesser war on nearer shores, but I can still change lives.

So I'll scream louder like there's gun powder in my lungs, I've come too far to lose. And I'll hold steady, keep my heart ready, cause I know my day is coming soon.

I'm moving forward. I've got this fire in my chest. I'm moving forward now.

So I'll scream louder like there's gun powder in my lungs, I've come too far to lose. And I'll hold steady, keep my heart ready, cause I know my day is coming soon.

I'm moving forward. I've got this fire in my chest. I'm moving forward now.
Track Name: Rewind (featuring Rival Summers)
Wake up! Someone shake this corpse awake, because you deserve my best. It's tough to love a living body when your heart is slowly rotting in your chest. But I once said I'd never let you down, and I'm trying.

So I'll sleep on the roof tonight, and soak myself in light. I'll try to make this right. I'm fragile but I'll fight. I swear someday I'll shine, eclipsing every crime. I'll force the hands of time; recapture, rebuild, rewind.

I'm scared, wandering these southern streets where no one knows my name. I swear if I'd critique objectively, I'd find myself to blame.

And all these Georgia pines remind me of their Michigan counterparts; that smell is written on my heart. And all these southern belles are chasing love, but this heart is spoken for; my ship is anchored in the north.
