The curtain falls, our time has come. Blood and sweat and floorboards become one. We've been defeated a thousand times and our tired eyes have seen the suits and ties get to everyone we see, but I won't let 'em get to me. No I won't let 'em get to me.
No guts no glory, we've got scars and stories. Strung up our hearts for all the world to see. And I'd deny my body an ounce of sleep, and not let fatigue get the best of me if I know that we're doing all we can to get ourselves back in the van... and keep this going another year.
Sometimes my feet are weary, but I know that you all hear me when I tell you it's becoming too hard to bear. You pick me up and put me on your shoulders, the days get longer and the nights get colder. But as long as we've got blood in our veins, we don't need another soul to tell us we're ok.
I am a liar, I am a dirty thief. I am a beggar, but when you move in me the whole earth shakes. I'll bring the mountains down.
