Track Name: Telling Time By The Exits
Lyrics by Cody Badgley and Evan Baker

Six years later I'm still pounding on the pavement collecting scars from every city I've been in. And if I'm being honest with everyone I know, I've worked my fingers to the bone to get where I am. And it still doesn't feel like I've gotten very far, but that's all I've got.

Yea the ink's not fading, and it still feels the same to me. Like it did when I was 15, when I was 15.

My legs have been collecting miles and I've been spending all my money just to stay out on the road. And when the time comes to hang it up, I'll look back at my life, and I'll be proud of what I've done. And if I never get that far, when I get older I'll remember that I did it all with hear.

Yea the ink's not fading, and it still feels the same to me. Like it did when I was 15, when I was 15.

I'm telling time by the exits, pulling pieces of pavement from my flesh.
Track Name: Come What May
Lyrics by Cody Badgley

We planted flowers when we were young, with just one seed for every son. We waited until Spring was sprung to see the bloom when summer's done. Come what may.

We planted flowers when we were young, but now we've aged and we've moved on. They waited until we were gone to show their bloom to everyone. A seed needs more room to grow, so give it room or let it go.

Come what may, it's a shame we didn't care until the time took us away. Come what may, we can't spend our lives praying that the sun is gonna stay.

A seed needs more room to grow, so give it room or let it go.

Come what may, it's a shame we didn't care until the time took us away. Come what may, we can't spend our lives praying that the sun is gonna stay. Come what may, in this town that we shared, the ground where we carved our names. Come what may, I'll be home soon and everything will be the same.
Track Name: Vultures
Lyrics by Evan Baker, Cody Badgley, and Ryan Graham

I put the finishing touches on a work of art today, with calloused hands I proudly placed my perseverance on display. It wasn't long til the vandals and the critics had their way and the scavengers amassed to watch them pick apart their prey.

What is it about the passionate and proud that makes the opposition grow?

When did you become the judge and jury? The gavel sounds, the verdict's read and we are on our own. They wrote me off and hoped the trial would kill me. I broke the cuffs and bent the locks and now their cover's blown.

What is it about the passionate and proud that makes the opposition grow? When will you vultures see when you prey upon the weak, you reap the poison that you sow.

You flock of vultures, you sniveling cowardly breed! Yea you pick out a weakness, then you flock and you feed! Yea you stack up the bodies like piles of silver and gold! One day you'll discover that it's dust that you hold.

What is it about the passionate and proud that makes the opposition grow? When will you vultures see when you prey upon the weak, you reap the poison that you sow.
Track Name: Hailsham Pavilion
Lyrics by Evan Baker

She's asleep on my shoulder, I've got my head on the glass. My mind keeps racing, outpacing the car as I'm watching the landscape pass. I'm wondering where the years went, pushing prayers through the clouds. I'm thinking of my mother, my brothers, my father and how I just want to make them proud.

Shelter me and break my fall, barricade these tired walls 'til I know that I'm safe and secure here. Shelter me and break my fall, barricade these tired walls 'til I know that your banner over me is love.

I keep running in circles, I'm counting nickels and dimes; searching for proof of some progress, a sign that I haven't been wasting my time. I must have found a protector, an ally above, to see such a string of consecutive failures get swallowed by all this love.

Shelter me and break my fall, barricade these tired walls 'til I know that I'm safe and secure here. Shelter me and break my fall, barricade these tired walls 'til I know that your banner over me is love.

So if I fall a thousand times, if I collapse and compromise, will you be there to help me rise again and again? And when they lay my body down, and I am placed beneath the ground, will I inspire the glory-bound to live as I did?

Shelter me and break my fall, barricade these tired walls 'til I know that I'm safe and secure here. Shelter me and break my fall, barricade these tired walls 'til I know that your banner over me is love.
Track Name: I Watched It Grow
Lyrics by Ryan Graham

I'm not a stroke of your brush, constructed carefully. So don't expect me to be something that I'm not. I keep letting you down when all I want to do is prove I'm greater than the sum of all my parts.

My father showed me the meaning of integrity, and since then I have balanced on the edge of compromise. And I swore I heard what he said to me, but I had rain in my ears, and in my eyes. I was a kid back then who didn't dream, I settled for complacency, cause I had dreams and they were terrifying. That's when I gave up on his will for me, and carved out my own history to prove that I was doing more than trying.

What are my words for if they were never really yours? Would you still love me if I had never gone off course? I thought I'd buried the hatchet long ago, but it became a seed and I watched it grow. Now control is something out of my control.

Pride is something I'll never understand, the dividing line for all the times you could've been a bigger man. Sadly a tragedy is what it takes to make you think, when I almost died that summer day at the bottom of the creek. But I dried off and I cleaned up and now every day looks a little brighter than before. It was grace that taught my heart to fear and showed me who I'm fighting for.

What are my words for if they were never really yours? Would you still love me if I had never gone off course? I thought I'd buried the hatchet long ago, but it became a seed and I watched it grow. Now control is something out of my control.

Let's talk about our issues and how I'm to blame and how I never do anything until it's too late. We built our house on nothing but sand and now I'm waiting for the rain to make it right again. Let's talk about the time, how we're not getting younger. We laid out in the grass and we burned that summer. We built our house on nothing but sand and now I'm waiting for the rain to make it right again.
Track Name: Wretch: Part II
Lyrics by Evan Baker

I can't seem to find the place where I left you despite all the steps that I've retraced. And I know you'll find your way back home without my direction. And I know you'll know you've been replaced.

Oh love, when did my strength become my weakness? Oh love, how does a flame become a glow?

Now I could betray you without hesitation, and I could deny your name three times. If you could reciprocate then this wouldn't be so hard to swallow, and breaking your heart wouldn't feel like a crime. And I know I'm forgiven, but I don't know how to forgive myself.

Oh love, when did my strength become my weakness? Oh love, how does a flame become a glow? Oh love, how could you see beyond my failures? Oh love, how could you stomach what you know?

I look down at my bloodstained hands. Oh what a wretch of a man I am!

I don't see how you could love me. Why would you love me?
Track Name: Outside The Gates
Lyrics by Ryan Graham

I watched you die in the living room. You said you'd see me soon, but I don't know if I'll go where you're going. Nothing could prepare me. I acted like nothing scared me, except for this overwhelming sense of doubt that keeps growing.

So would you try to change my mind if I said I don't believe? Cause Lord knows the last thing I wanna be is disappointing. Would you try to break my stubborn heart before it's too late? Cause I don't wanna see you from outside the gates.

I used to use flowers to mark the page where I left off, but it seems somewhere along the way I got lost. I got lost!

So would you try to change my mind if I said I don't believe? Cause Lord knows the last thing I wanna be is disappointing. Would you try to break my stubborn heart before it's too late? Cause I don't wanna see you from outside the gates.

We wilt with the ink that was used to help us believe. So if that's true, if that's really the case, I've got some footsteps to retrace.

So would you try to change my mind if I said I don't believe? Cause Lord knows the last thing I wanna be is disappointing. Would you try to break my stubborn heart before it's too late? Cause I don't wanna see you from outside the gates.
Track Name: Blacklist
Lyrics by Evan Baker

Well I've got midnight in my blood, and fire, ignoring everything their rules require. So go tell the industry elitists, those lions, that I've got midnight in my blood. I've got my Motion City song on repeat, and it reminds me to be strong, cause I'm still picking up my teeth. And I'm stitching wounds from Carolina, and all her southern friends. But I've got midnight in my blood.

And I've seen the way the cliche ends (just keep your mouth shut and pretend). But I've got a promise to defend.

Believe in me! I swore to live my life defiantly. The moonlight shining on the open road is all I need to be free, and that's one thing they can't take away from me.

I'm so tired of the politics and punk rock cliques, the cookie cutter copycat charade. I'm so tired of the repetition competition prohibiting originality.

Believe in me! I swore to live my life defiantly. The moonlight shining on the open road is all I need to be free, and that's one thing they can't take away from me.

I'll never bow my knee to the arrogance and posturing that dominate this scene. So go on and blacklist me! I've got basements, barns, and dive bars that the industry can't reach.

Believe in me! I swore to live my life defiantly. The moonlight shining on the open road is all I need to be free, and that's one thing they can't take away from me.
Track Name: The Chaos In My Veins
Lyrics by Evan Baker

You were the chaos in my veins. We rushed the streets like hurricanes, desperate for everything we thought the world should be. Bent on rebellion from the start, each night forever in my heart. Reckless and resolute, invincible and free.

I'm comin' over on a Friday, doin' 80 on an unpaved back road. Tonight we do it my way: it isn't over until someone breaks a bone, or breaks a heart. And I don't ever wanna see the sun again, or let this end.

You were the chaos in my veins. We rushed the streets like hurricanes, desperate for everything we thought the world should be. Bent on rebellion from the start, each night forever in my heart. Reckless and resolute, invincible and free.

Midnight in an empty parking lot, outnumbered we never had a shot. And I was never the kind to start a fight, but I was ready to die that night. You were a lost cause; I was a lost cause.

You were the chaos in my veins. We rushed the streets like hurricanes, desperate for everything we thought the world should be. Bent on rebellion from the start, each night forever in my heart. Reckless and resolute, invincible and free.

We were reckless, equating damage with progress, then blaming the world for the whole mess. There's not a moment I regret, I'd do it over with you.
Track Name: Curtains
Lyrics by Cody Badgley and Evan Baker

The curtain falls, our time has come. Blood and sweat and floorboards become one. We've been defeated a thousand times and our tired eyes have seen the suits and ties get to everyone we see, but I won't let 'em get to me. No I won't let 'em get to me.

No guts no glory, we've got scars and stories. Strung up our hearts for all the world to see. And I'd deny my body an ounce of sleep, and not let fatigue get the best of me if I know that we're doing all we can to get ourselves back in the van... and keep this going another year.

Sometimes my feet are weary, but I know that you all hear me when I tell you it's becoming too hard to bear. You pick me up and put me on your shoulders, the days get longer and the nights get colder. But as long as we've got blood in our veins, we don't need another soul to tell us we're ok.

I am a liar, I am a dirty thief. I am a beggar, but when you move in me the whole earth shakes. I'll bring the mountains down.
